Organic Awareness for Soil Foundation Training (Soil Test & Sampling)
Practical Session on Soil Test and Sampling under the Back to Nature – Organic Farming Non-Formal Training Program at the backside farm area of Don Bosco Institution, Thecho. The practical session aimed to provide hands-on knowledge and experience to participants on the correct methods of soil sampling for organic farming and soil testing purposes.
Objectives of the Practical Session
The session focused on enabling participants to:
- Practically apply theoretical knowledge gained from Day 1
- Learn accurate and scientific on-field soil sampling techniques
- Identify appropriate soil sampling locations and depths
- Prepare soil samples for laboratory soil testing
